NARASANTI — Rope of Sand (D&B Remix)

In this D&B remix of “Rope of Sand,” we wanted to push our heavy roots into high-speed electronic territory, using that frantic rhythm to talk about something heavy: addiction.

The title is pretty much the whole point. A rope of sand is the ultimate illusion — it looks like a lifeline, something solid you can finally grab onto when you’re drowning or running from yourself. But the second you put weight on it, it just slips through your fingers and turns to dust. You’re left falling, with zero control.
